The Big Short

For me as economist, interested "share affairs", this movie was one of expected. However, not for long I waited for it as a result, but the less. Besides, interest was stirred by talented actors in leading roles.

As a result I can tell that received from the movie exactly what waited for. About mortgage crisis I know both in the theory, and in practice. I remember how in 2008 when I finished a last year of university parents in concern called and asked whether there is in general something on counters of shops. I remember an agiotage, I remember general panic. Well, and we studied the theory also on special objects, and discussed together with the interested fellow students therefore I can tell that everything is shown in the movie very simply, literally on fingers, but at the same time is reliable and truthful.



The few at the moment of crisis understood what really happens. They heard a ring about mortgage housing, but did not understand that the main problem — in an illusory bubble, that is in neediness of the housing credits. Now about it it is written enough, however it is interesting to very few people to read boring financial calculations. In the movie very much tried, having invited beautiful girls like Margo Robbie (hi to "Wolf"!), having cut all clear illustrations from the world show biza, also explained the main problems cheerfully and sexually. I think that such giving of many will draw and will turn attention to a problem which, by the way, exists also on this moment. Perhaps, not far off the second such crisis so I think that people have to know what they deal with.

Two main stars — Bale and Carel decorated the movie. The first, as always, powerfully reincarnated, practically not to learn … What one eye costs! The second will be remembered for a long time, the character at it quite unusual and ambiguous too, and it perfectly realized it. There was not enough Brad, waited more. And darling Goslinga painted in not - understand - what color, but all the same it was good and convincing! Young boys pleased too — showed the real homebrew financial analysts! Also saw Melissa Leo and Marisa Tomei in insignificant roles — fine ornament!

Very much pleased music — it is direct in a subject and helped to understand sense of the events even better.

In general, the sound sketch of what occurred in the USA those years, under a specific point of view of "prophets", so to speak turned out. It was interesting to me and even in some sense it is informative. In the movie there are no certain morals, only the facts are shown: banks and rating agencies swindled, and the simple people paid. Generally, as always.
