Sinister 2

If the first "Sinister" from Scott Derrickson can still be seen as incredibly cool horror movie (after re-entry, it is not so interesting, but still wildly atmospheric).

Its sequel, where stood at the helm debutant Kieran Foy, looks pure fake and a sham which makes acting James Ransone and although weak, but the original story with children as close as possible to the genre of dark fantasy, still managed to keep me until the end of the film.

Where to treated kindly by critics "It Follows", whose success I accept, and the music is sometimes've been relistening. However, as original a horror film not taken seriously (it is too like carpenter, and me because it hurts). And as for the second Sinister?



Yeah, that's a full-fledged horror and of course, not serious, but it's in addition a great Comedy, is perceived slightly better than the third of the "Astral plane" (film about food, and ghosts), and personally I liked more, probably because of the music and those moments with Bagula from whom for a moment my heart stopped. And as always, I stuck to the newcomers, and the efforts are visible to the naked eye, although most of all try guys team Tomandandy, Bagul, James Ranson and operator Amy Vincent.

However everything is subjective, to look purely at the request, or if you like I'm a mad fan of the first part of the film, it is possible(unlikely,) you will like. Everyone else, feel free to pass by, in fact, the sequel is far inferior to the original.

Yes and especially now in our time, many horror movies did not scare, and only occasionally, it is impossible to take even slightly seriously(remember the movies with a huge unrealized potential, "Visit" M. night Shyamalan and "Remove from friends" Levan Gabriadze).
